The Trail of Faces
A patron at the temple told us about this site. Unfortunately, we went on a cold and rainy weekend. The area lost some of its charm with bare trees, and mud. We just can't get to everywhere we want to go in the summer time. Nevertheless, we had a nice hike and enjoyed our trip.

Just before we got to the park we drove through this little hamlet. What you are looking at are homes built into caves. That is actually not that unusual in Spain. |

This is a very old site in Spanish history. |

The park sat on the edge of a lake. |

Route of the Faces, or Trail of Faces. |
One handsome face!

All the carvings are in solid rock. I'm not sure what this artist is saying. I will let the carvings speak for themselves. We missed a few, but had to leave before we floated out. |
