While on our way to go gliding we passed a walled village a little way off the freeway. I commented on it, and Miguel offered to take us there after our flight. So here are some pictures of the very interesting small town of Buitrago.

This church, and wall was built by the Mudejars, who were the Moors that remained in Spain and were converted to Christianity. The Moorish influence is very evident. |
